1935-1936: BLUE FLAG

The first issue of Dalton’s literary magazine, The Blue Flag, is published. “The new magazine, under the name of Blue Flag, has been started. The staff is reading over the large number of poems and compositions which have been contributed by the students of the Senior High School, and each member of the staff reads each paper and then places a brief comment on it. Those approved by everyone are promptly accepted, and those not approved by anyone are rejected. There are always some which receive both good and bad criticism.”
