The Nursery Program begins on January 11, 1932 and runs until 1956.

Students, under the direction of a skilled nurse, Miss Amott, learn to handle, bathe, feed, and comfort infants. “In studying circulation, the students listen to the heart beats of the babies, noting the difference in sounds and the difference in rates under varying circumstances—all of which leads naturally to a further study of cardiac anatomy and interests the girls in the complete functioning of the body.” —Mother Training for High School Girls

“…Just before Christmas, the four classes of the Senior High School had chosen their respective babies by lot, Fred going to the Sophomore class, Frank, the Freshman class, Norma, the Junior class, and Alma, the Senior class.” —Dalton Annual, 1932
